Adventures of Quigley

Quigley came to us at only 6 weeks of age. He is a June Autrey baby out of Tennessee, who has bred black cap capuchin monkeys for years. This little rascal was on his way to the Tonight Show with Jack Hannah, but fate stepped in, due to a medical issue Jack was unable to make it to pick little Quigley up.

I got a call from Miss June’s daughter, she told me, “Listen, mama has a baby that Jack Hannah was coming for, but he can’t make it do you want him?”

Oh, I wanted him, I immediately rushed to the bank for a bank note and headed to go collect my little one. It’s just like bringing your newborn home from the hospital.

It felt like taking care of triplets 24/7. They are a lifetime commitment.

He lives in our home with us, and he truly believes he does great work around here. if your computer screen ever times out, he’ll be ready to nudge the mouse.

One if his favorite foods are cheese dip and chips. Veggie pizzas and cheese are a close second.

Quigley is not a fan of pigs or cows but otherwise loves all the other animals.

He is the sweetest boy.

This boy brings so much Joy and Laughter to our lives.

I can’t imagine life without him.

I can’t imagine what his mind is thinking as he’s working and playing and doing things.

Today, he tore my peppermint plant apart out of my hanging basket and I guess he’s just gonna make his own basket.

He’s taken each peppermint leaf and stem and shoving it in the top of his cage.

He’s amazing.

Amazing little monkey.
