Homeschool Programs

We are an EFA approved direct pay vendor providing educational opportunities for Arkansas students.

Homeschool Field Trip Days

Each program consists of its own weekly theme, so that your child has something new to anticipate with each coming week.

Supply your own lunch

Many activity days run long; you will need to fuel. Cockrill’s does not supply food at the farm, but we provide an area with tables to enjoy your packed lunch. Feel free to sit and enjoy the view while eating but please do not provide any outside food to the animals.

So many ways to explore and learn

We offer Educational Animal Presentations, Petting Zoo Experiences, talks and classes on Animals Care, Feeding Habits, and Animal Behavior, Farm and Agriculture Education, as well as opportunities to meet exotic animals such as Kangaroos, Camels, reptiles, Alpacas, Llamas, Sloths and more.

Hands-on activities

Our activities are designed to keep your child engaged, whether learning about animal care and habits or enjoying live interactions with the animals.

Learning Comes to Life on the Farm!

Cockrill's Country Critters welcomes homeschool families, co-ops, homeschool groups for fun, hands-on educational experiences with animals and agriculture. Our farm gives children the opportunity to learn outside the traditional classroom through animal encounters, farm activities, and age-appropriate educational lessons.

Homeschool Field Trips

Homeschool groups can schedule a private or group field trip to Cockrill's.  Programs can be designed for different ages and group sizes.

Homeschool Days

Throughout the year Cockrill’s will host special Homeschool Days where individual homeschool families can attend without organizing a full private group field trip.

These homeschool days count as an Extra-Curricular activity in the EFA program.
